Measure the circumference of your waist (Waist Size) through the belt loops of your pants. This is your Waist Size, which is usually a few inches greater than the size marked on your pants. If in doubt, measure your waist with a tape measure! This will ensure you get the right size. All measurements are in inches.

A Belt with STYLE + PERFORMANCE
Inspired by the toughness and rugged individualism of the humble Badger, Carbon Tactics brings you a better-working belt for the man of action. We’ve designed it to be incredibly functional and rugged, but with a clean rectangular design that doesn't beg for attention.
Secure Magnetic Latch Mechanism
The Badger Buckle snaps together smoothly and reliably, and it's inherently stable in the locked position. It stays put when you don't have the luxury of staying put yourself. Push the two pieces together and twist for quick release.
Most tactical belts scream “tactical” wherever you go, but the BadgerStrap is subtle. You can wear the belt two different ways: with the tail to the side (the classic method), or tucked under for a super clean low-profile look. Just thread the strap through the buckle accordingly.
Easy to adjust but doesn’t slip. The harder you stress it, the harder it locks up around your waist, like the weaponized jaws of a hungry badger (but in belt-form).
Follow the Arrows
Please note, if you're going to carry a ton of gear on your belt, or plan on using it as a makeshift sling, thread the buckle in the "classic" manner by following the arrows engraved on the back of the buckle. The alternative "Tail Tucked" configuration does not lock up under high loads, even though it still works great for normal use as a belt.
It's like the AK-47 of belt buckles. Other quick-release buckles can jam when they get dirty, but the Badger Buckle expels dirt and just keeps working. It's incredibly overbuilt for the purpose of holding up your pants and EDC gear.
The buckle allows for infinite adjustment, and all options will be available in a wide range of sizes to fit you. If you're a bigger guy, don't worry, we have you covered.
Single Layer Tactical Nylon Strap
Double Duty: Double-Layer Tactical Nylon Strap
For ultimate rigidity, we created a double-layer option, where the strap is doubled up except for where it passes through the buckle. This enhances rigidity while still allowing for quick and easy adjustment. It's the best option for holstering a firearm and other EDC gear.
How its made
The BadgerStrap is manufactured in Tucson, AZ. Every step is overseen by the designer, Michael Sargent.
Badger Buckles are machined in-house on our Brother Speedio CNC mill. Doing it ourselves is the only way to maintain aerospace levels of precision and quality without paying aerospace prices. Is it overkill? Maybe, but BadgerStrap don't care.
Prototypes after Anodizing
High quality neodymium magnets are permanently pressed into the aluminum buckles with approximately 1000 pounds of force. The brass post is installed by bending, inserting into the male buckle, and then "un-bending". That holds the brass post captive forever while still allowing it to slide freely in it's guide.
Sewing with Industrial Sewing Machine
Every belt is sewn in-house on one of our Juki DNU-1541 industrial sewing machines. We may not be as fast (or cheap) as a factory overseas, but this way we can place every stitch exactly where it needs to go.
Please Note: This belt is not rated for safety, climbing, or any high-load bearing applications. It is the responsibility of the user to independently determine the suitability of this product for any given application.
Belt Sizing Notes
In order to make sure you get the exact size you need, I've created a sizing chart to reference.
"Waist Size" is the distance around your waist, as measured through the belt loops of your pants. Note that your "waist size" is usually slightly larger than your pants size, partly because the belt has to wrap around your pants in addition to your waist, and partly because most pants are trying to make you feel a bit skinnier than you may actually be! All belts will be made longer than your waist size, to provide room for adjustment.
For double layer belts, the sizing is most critical. MEASURE YOUR WAIST WITH A TAPE MEASURE, THROUGH THE BELT LOOPS if you are unsure, and reference the WAIST SIZE column of the chart below.
If the sizing chart does not go small or large enough for you, just leave me a note, and we'll happily make a custom size for you. You can also send me a message if you have any questions.
